1.5" Early Cambrian Trilobite (Perrector) - Tazemmourt, Morocco
This is a 1.5" long Early Cambrian trilobite, Perrector falloti, from Tazemmourt, Morocco. It has been expertly prepared in high relief, making the trilobite stand out beautifully against the surrounding shale. There is no restoration on this specimen.
The genus Perrector is considered synonymous with Richterops and Resserops. While those two names are more commonly used when referring to this species, Perrector is likely the most technically accurate classification.

Trilobites were a very diverse group of extinct marine arthropods.
