1.6" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Jaw Section - South Dakota
This is a 1.6" long mandible (lower jaw) bone section of the running rhino, Hyracodon. It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 34 million years old. There is one complete tooth present which is attached to a small portion of jaw bone.
