1.7" Rare, Spiny Corynexochid Trilobite (Bojoscutellum?) - Morocco

This is a rare, as far as I know undescribed corynexochid trilobite from the Devonian Timrhanhart Formation of Morocco, exhibiting affinities to the genus Bojoscutellum. Its striking appearance is defined by three elongated cephalic spines and prominent axial spines, making it a remarkable example of this unusual trilobite. Specimens of this type are exceedingly difficult to obtain, and this is the first we've offered for sale in several years.

The fossil displays a beautiful chocolate-brown shell that contrasts sharply with the light tan limestone matrix. Restoration is limited to approximately 3%, entirely along the margin of the left free cheek.
