1.75" Tattered Fossil Feather - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a 1.75" long (longest measurement) fossil feather from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Utah. The feather is clearly tattered and twisted up a bit. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
