2.4" Fossil Seed and Fly Association - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a well preserved .5" unidentified fossil seed and a fly (order Diptera) from the Green River Formation of Uintah County, Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
