4.3" Fossil Beetle and Horsetail Plate - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a 4.3" wide fossil beetle and horsetail plate from the Green River Formation of Utah. It features a .15" long beetle (order Coleoptera) and a horsetail (Equisetum winchesteri) stem.

While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
