2.7" Fossil Mosbach Wolf (Canis) Partial Mandible - France

This is a partial fossil mandible from a Mosbach Wolf (Canis mosbachensis). It is from the Upper Pleistocene and is approximately 280,000 years old. There are multiple teeth still preserved within their sockets. There are repaired cracks to each side of the mandible, with the majority of repair at the distal end of the jaw. There are visible teeth still within the jaw, however due to the repair and stabilization of the bone, it's possible that these teeth were mounted into place.
