2.8" Fossil Horsetail (Equisetum) with Flower- Green River Formation

This is a 2.8" fossil horsetail (Equisetum) from the Green River Formation of Utah. This specimen is the stalk with a flower along one edge of the rock. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
