Two Fossil Leaves (Sycamore and Ash) - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a 6.6" fossil sycamore (Platanus) and a 4.9" ash (Fraxinus) leaf from the Green River Formation, Utah. This unique plate show both leaves in amazing detail; primary and secondary venation as well as the leaf texture.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
