.28" Crane Fly and Moth Fossil- Green River Formation

This is a fossil crane fly (Pronophlebia redivivia) and an unidentified Moth (lepidoptera) from the Green River Formation is Utah.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
