.29" Fossil Dromaeosaurid Theropod (Deinonychus) Tooth - Montana

This is a .29" long dromaeosaurid theropod tooth from the Early Cretaceous-aged Cloverly Formation in Carbon County, Montana. It has characteristics of the species Deinonychus antirrhopus which include general shape, larger serrations along the distal edge, and significantly smaller serrations along the mesial edge. There are two repaired cracks through the middle of the tooth, along with notable gap fill restoration.

Comes in an acrylic display case.
