3.5" Fossil Candlenut Leaf (Aleurites) - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a well preserved 3.5" fossil candlenut leaf Aleurites glandulosa from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. While this formation is best known for well-preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain very diverse flora and insect fauna.
