4.3" Flying Zlichovaspis Trilobite - Atchana, Morocco
This is a stunningly prepared, 4.3" long (if outstretched) example of the Dalmanitid trilobite, Zlichovaspis rugosa quarried near Atchana, Morocco. This exquisite trilobite has had nearly all of the limestone removed from underneath its shell during preparation. This causes it to appear translucent and glow when back lit. A very fascinating specimen.
About 2% restoration on this specimen with several repaired cracks through the right genal spine.
