4.4" Fossil Dinosaur Ulna Bone - Hell Creek Formation, Montana
This is a nicely preserved, 4.4" long ulna (distal arm bone) of an unidentified dinosaur from the Hell Creek Formation of Dawson County, Montana. The bone was found in two pieces, requiring gap fill restoration through through the diaphysis. The proximal epiphysis also required some restoration where the bone had weathered away.

The Hell Creek Formation
Renowned for both its age and rich sedimentary layers, the Hell Creek Formation is one of the most intensively studied fossil-bearing regions on Earth.
