This is a beautiful, 4.55" wide leaf fossil plate from the Green River Formation of Uintah County, Utah. It contains two leaves representing the species Caesalpinia pecorae (divi divi tree - 1.5" wide) and Allophylus flexifolia (3.5" long). While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.
