4" Crane Fly (Tipulidae) & Fly (Diptera) Plate - Utah

This is a 4" wide insect mortality plate featuring a detailed crane fly (family Tipulidae), fly (order Diptera), and what appears to be a partial grasshopper, collected from the Green River Formation of Utah. While the Green River Formation is best know for its fish fossils, other areas produce incredible plant fossils and insect fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
