5.5" Fossil Leaf (Allophylus) From Wyoming - With Insect Predation

This is a nicely preserved, 5.5" long fossil leaf (Allophylus flexifolia) collected from the Green River Formation at Warfield's Quarry. Fossil plants are an uncommon find in the commercial fish quarries. The leaf shows signs of having been partially eaten by insects.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
