.5" Fossil Flower (Pos/Neg) - Green River Formation, Wyoming

This is a lightly preserved .5" wide fossil flower from the Green River Formation. It was collected from Warfield quarry near Kemmerer, Wyoming. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.

Both halves of the split are included and each comes with an acrylic display stand.
