6.3" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Jaw Section - South Dakota
This is a 6.3" long mandible section from a running rhino (Hyracodon nebraskensis). It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 30-33 million years old. There are four complete preserved teeth still embedded in the jaw.
It is accompanied by an acrylic display stand. There are a couple repaired cracks through the jaw.
