8" Fossil Flora Plate - Green River Formation, Utah

This is an interesting fossil flora plate from the Green River Formation of Utah. It contains fern and tree fossils, each of which features preserved primary venation. The dark preservation of the leaves contrasts nicely against the creme-colored shale.

While the Green River Formation is best know for its fish fossils, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
