.88" Permian Reptile Jaw Section - Oklahoma
This is a .88" wide jaw section of a Lower Permian reptile that was collected from the Richard's Spur Quarry near Lawton, Oklahoma. This permian reptile material is found within cave fissure fill deposits in the quarry. Comes with a small acrylic case.
The rock this specimen was found in still partially covers this jaw section. A small pyrite formation can be found within the rock, as well as calcite crystals attached to the bone in a cavity and within one of the teeth canals.
