.95" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Tooth - South Dakota
This is a .95" molar from the maxilla (upper jaw) of the running rhino, Hyracodon nebraskensis. It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 32-34 million years old. There is a repaired crack through the crown of the tooth.
