Absolutely Insane Acanthopyge (Lobopyge) Trilobite - .75"

This cute, little trilobite is about the pinnical of insanely detailed preparation work. It is a fairly rare lichid trilobite, Acanthopyge (Lobopyge) bassei from Atchana, Morocco which has been prepared almost completely free of the matrix, resting on a pinnacle of limestone. The shell detail is exceptional with every little bump and tuberical present and no burning of the shell. It would have probably taken at least 30 hours under microscope, and was done by one of the very best preparators in the world. Truly stunning...
