Big 3" Illaenus Sinuatus Trilobite - Russia

This is a big specimen of Illaenus sinuatus from the St.Petersburg Region of Russia. It's head is tucked but it would be about 3 inches in length if outstretched. It displays nicely on the sculpted block of limestone.

Like basically all of the trilobites from this region there is some shell restoration as the shell tends to flake during collection. There is a large patch of restored shell in the center of the head.
