Brown Gerastos Trilobite - Morocco

Here's a nice example of Proetida trilobite Gerastos tuberculatus from the Middle Devonian of Morocco. The Proetidae family of trilobites was the last group to go extinct at the end of the Permain period. The coloration on this one is different than most. It shows good surface detail including the distinctive bumpy glabella and there is no restoration.
