Cute Little Flying Crotalocephalina Trilobite - 1.9"

This is a cute, little Crotalocephalina gibbus trilobite that has been prepared so that "flies" on a small pedestal of matrix. It's just under 2 inches in length and would have taken many hours of work to prepare in this fashion.

The reason this specimen is so inexpensive is that is was broken on shipment from Morocco and could not be repaired. You'll notice about five plural spines on the right hand side of the body are missing along with the tips of a couple of the tail spines. It's still a very impressive little guy for a cheap price.
