Detailed Fossil Ant and Flies in Baltic Amber
This are two nicely detailed 44 million year old fossil flies (family Chironomidae & family Sciaridae) and an ant (family Formicidae) preserved in Baltic amber. The length of the ant is about 2.5mm.
