Detailed Moroccan Trilobite Paralejurus

This is an good example of the Corynexochida trilobite, Paralejurus hamlagdadicus. The specimen has great surface detail and the eyes show literally hundreds of preserved facets. The streamline shape of Paralejurus suggests that it was likely a burrowing trilobite. There is a repaired crack running across the body and through the tail where the rock was broken during collection but it has no restoration.
