Fossil Great White Shark Tooth - 1.83"

This is a fossil great white shark tooth, Carcharodon carcharias. It's 1.83" long and comes from the Pungo River Formation in South Carolina which is Miocene in age. The serrations are pretty worn but are still visible along the edge. These fossil great white teeth are much rarer than the Megalodon teeth which they are associated with.
