Huge, 2.40" Serrated Tyrannosaur (Nanotyrannus) Tooth - Montana
This is a huge, 2.40" long tyrannosaur tooth from the genus Nanotyrannus, collected from the Hell Creek Formation in Montana. Typically a tooth of this length would be considered to be from Tyrannosaurus rex, however the cross section is far too thin to be rex. There are several repaired cracks and areas of gap fill throughout the crown, but the tooth retains visible serrations and offers an affordable opportunity to own a genuine specimen from this intriguing tyrannosaur.
The tooth comes with a riker mount display case.

About Nanotyrannus
Nanotyrannus is a controversial theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of North America, known from a small number of fossils including the famous skull “Jane.” It was a relatively small, lightly built predator—about 15–20 feet long—with long legs, a narrow snout, and sharp teeth, suggesting speed and agility compared to the massive Tyrannosaurus rex.
