Bargain 2.2" Dicranurus Trilobite - Black Cat Mountain
This is a bargain example of a rare trilobite from the Haragan Formation of Oklahoma. Only a few complete specimens are found at the Black Cat Mountain Quarry each year by Bob Carroll, and even ones this complete takes weeks of breaking rock to find.
This specimen is quite large at about 2.35" long and just missing it's tail. The rest of it is exquisitely preserved and prepared by the master himself, Bob Carroll. The caramel colored shell contrasts well against the light matrix and the distinctive "ram horns" are intact.
