Rare, 2.6" Treveropyge Maura Trilobite - Issoumour, Morocco

This is an nice specimen of the rarely seen trilobite Treveropyge maura from Issoumour, Morocco. Not to be confused with the common Coltraenia trilobites which are often mislabeled as Treveropyge. Treveropyge maura species is very tough to find complete, the the preparation on this one is as good as it gets.

This specimen is 2.6" long, and has outstanding eye facet preservation. Exceptional preparation work with many of the spines prepared free-standing.
