Well Prepared Cyphaspis (Otarion) Boutscharafinense

This is a well prepared example of the Devonian trilobite Cyphaspis sp. from Morocco. The long spine coming off it's back has been prepared free-standing along with both genal spines, and it's very granulose head can easily be seen. Preparing a trilobite in this fashion takes many hours of highly skilled work.

There is no restoration on this specimen.
