This is a stunning, 17.5" tall purple amethyst geode section from Artigas, Uruguay. The base of the cluster has been cut flat so that it stands up nicely on a flat surface. There are several stalactitic formations across the specimen and multiple calcite crystals can be seen near the top of the geode.
