2.95" Polished Squirrel Tail "Stromatolite" Sphere - Mexico

This is a 2.95" wide stone commonly referred to as "squirrel tail stromatolite", collected in Mexico. It shows beautiful swirls and banding in a mixture of red, pink, and white-grey hues. While the patterns are reminiscent of stromatolitic formations, we're uncertain of this identification.
