This is a fossil leaf of Cedrelospermum nervosum, an extinct species of plant classified within the Ulmaceae family, which includes modern trees like elm and hackberry, collected from the Green River Formation of Utah. It measures 1.2" long and is located alongside a beautifully detailed crane fly (family Tipulidae) fossil. The plate itself measures 3 x 2.9".
