1.5" Kettneraspis Trilobite With Horn Coral - Lghaft, Morocco

This is a beautiful, 1.5" long, Kettneraspis? prescheri trilobite from Morocco. It has a large, and very distinctive occipital spine. These trilobites have typically been labeled as Leonaspis but based on more recent papers it appears to be Kettneraspis? prescheri. The spines of this example have been prepared free-standing and there is a horn coral fossil just in front of it on the rock.
