8.4" Multiple Fossil Leaf (Populus & Vitis) Plate - Nebraska
This is an 8.4" wide plate of rock that contains two exceptionally well preserved fossil leaves including a poplar (Populus gallowayi) leaf and vining-type plant leaf (Vitis pannosa), collected from the Valentine Formation of Cherry County, Nebraska. This specimen shows the primary and secondary veins on each leaf. The Vitis pannosa measures 3.1" long and the Populus gallowayi measures 2.85" long (including stem).
