Two Fossil Beetles (Coleoptera)- Green River Formation, Utah

This is 2 fossil Beetles (Coleoptera) from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. The larger beetle is .28" and appears to be of the Family Scarabaeidae or scarab beetle, the second is .24" and is not identifiable beyond the Order Coleoptera.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
