3.6" Fossil Samarae (Winged Seeds) and Plant Fragment Plate - Utah
This is a beautifully preserved cluster of fossil winged seed pods (samarae) preserved alongside a variety of flora fragments, collected from the Green River Formation in Uintah County, Utah. Preservation of these samaras are excellent and shows the veins in the wing and shape of the seed.
While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse selection of flora fossils.
Comes with an acrylic display stand.
