3.8" Fossil Spleenwort and Sycamore Plate - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a fossil flora plate from the Green River Formation of Utah. It features a small but beautiful, 1.1" long (including stem) sycamore (Macginitiea wyomingensis) and a spleenwort (Asplenium delicatula) fossil. A third, partial leaf can be seen running off one edge of the rock.

While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
