4.7" Multiple Fossil Leaf Plate - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a 4.7" wide slab of shale containing two fossil leaves. The largest (unidentified) measures 3.2" long, preserved alongside a .6" long mimosite (Mimosites coloradensis) leaf. This specimen was collected from the Green River Formation in Utah.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.

While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.
