This is a high grade, thick, end-slice of Jurassic aged petrified wood from Queensland, Australia. It's a conifer, most likely of the genus Araucaria. The exterior is naturally polished from water wear and it's been sliced and polished to reveal the very detailed interior incluing the growth rings. The piece weighs about 13 ounces in total.
