.61" Fossil Sycamore Fruit - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a beautifully preserved .61" fossil Sycamore (Palataneae) fruit, from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. This specimen shows the preserved fruit in addition to the husk material.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
