.75" Fossil Sycamore (Platanus) Fruit - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a beautifully preserved .75" fossil Sycamore (Platanus) fruit from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. Preservation of this specimen is excellent. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
