8.6" Plate w/ Crinoid Holdfasts, Bryozoans & Trilobites Parts- Indiana
This is a 8.65" wide smorgasbord of marine fossils from the Silurian-aged Waldron Shale Formation of Shelby County, Indiana. On this plate you can observe bryozoans and two crinoid (Eucalyptocrinus sp.) holdfasts surrounded by a multitude of brachiopods and partial Dalmanites fossils (pygidium and cephalon). Additionally, some of the fossils, especially the brachiopods, have undergone shiny pyrite replacement. You will discover more cool fossils on this specimen with each new look. Truly a phenomenal display piece.
