5.9" Partial Sycamore (Platanus) Leaf & Fruit - Utah

This is a 5.9" wide fossil Sycamore (Platanus) leaf and fruit, from the Green River Formation, Utah. This specimen is a fragment of a very large leaf. The fruit is located near the end of the stem. There are a number of other unrelated plant sections that cannot be identified. Two appear to be stems and others are roots. Several other unassociated The Green River Formation is the same formation that is famous for producing well preserved fish fossils, but a different member and location.
