Fossil Willow Leaf From Green River Formation

This is a nicely detailed Willow Leaf from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Wyoming. This long, thin leaf is darkly colored and the venation is very visible to the naked eye.
These plants come from a different area than the quarries so famous for wonderfully preserved fish fossils.
