Large, 1.32" Cornuproetus Trilobite With Phacopid

This is a large, 1.32" long specimen of the Proetida trilobite Diademaproetus praecursor from the Lower Devonian of Morocco. It displays the diagnostic features of this species including a granulose cephalon and long swept-back genal spines. It's been nicely prepared with good detail including eye facets and is also association with an enrolled Phacopid (probably Barrandeops). The right genal spine of the Diademaproetus has been prepared free of matrix. There is a tiny bit of restoration on the first axial ring of the Diademaproetus, about 2%.
