Legume and Cranefly Fossil Association - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a fossil legume from the Green River Formation in Utah. It's remarkably well detailed and has a length of 2.7". There are a few very nicely preserved crane fly fossils near the legume on the rock. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
